Chanukah - 1st Night

Friday night was, as most of you who read my blog know, the first night of Chanukah. I had a wonderful time. The evening started with lighting the menorah and then the Shabbos candles. Afterwards I went immediately to shul and stayed for our Greek themed communal Chanukah Shabbos meal. I was in great company with a ton of laughs, good food, and genuine people. The only thing missing was my boyfriend.

This past week has had me missing my mom which is expected during the holidays, other than that I was in great spirits (even without Manishewitz) :)
