The Things Kids Write...

We are in the middle of the final 3 days of the semester. While grading finals, I came across many "odd" essays. Below are two excerpts. One is a great creative beginning from one of my kids from the group home (see previous posts). He's sharp, creative and a smart ass :) (the politely thing). The second example is, ummm, well....you'll see. Note: I typed them as they were written, typos and all. They are more fun to read that way.

"Explain genocide"? The English teacher said. Michael politely raised his hand and replied "it's when you ride on your own kind".

"In only a few ways may you think of genocide as a "good" thing. It helps stop over populating on Earth in a way that is imoral"......"It's like a neverending haze cursed upon this world. Only one way genocide can be good but its not worth it."
