Chanukah- Night 6: Latkes and Lozenges

Torn Bread Potatoes and Onions Sizzling

Since I've been feeling so sick, I decided to not go to my regular Shabbat meal. So tonight I'll light my menorah, my Shabbos candles, and stay in. To compensate, I made myself a small batch of some very simple latkes, maybe 8 or so latkes. All I used was: 1 large potato, 1/2 small onion, 3 slices of stale(ish) bread torn into medium pieces (I actually used a sprouted whole grain bread), salt and pepper to taste, and of course olive oil. This recipe is very basic, but gets the job done, especially once you add the apple sauce :)
