Kashering Adventures

Tonight I am kashering my kitchen for the very first time. I was not raised in a kosher home but over the last year it's something I've thought of doing and decided that since I am in a new place, this is the perfect time to give it a shot. Right now I'm working on simply boiling the water which is making me nervous because everything around the stove is SUPER hot. When the water begins to boil I'll call the rabbi (which should be shortly). Then he'll come over and we'll kasher my stuff. This is quite interesting, very challenging, and a lot of work. If it doesn't kill me, it'll sure make me stronger...
