It's the Little Things that Remind Me Why I Teach

After my rough week, a student in that same 4th period class gave me the following note at the end of the class today. It's these types of little things that make me happy to be a teacher. :)

Ms. (MY NAME),

I don't normally do this when I'm still in a teacher's class, but given the circumstances, I thought it appropriate to tell you. I really appreciate all that you do for us and I would like to apologize for the disrespect our class gives you because you do not deserve it. Thank you for all the opportunities you give us and I hope that one day the class will realize how lucky we are to have you as a teacher. Thank you for everything.
